Staying in Sync — Beacon Supports the Latest Compac OPT Format

If your site uses a Compac OPT (Outside Payment Terminal) to trade fuel after hours, this one's for you!

Compac recently updated their OPT software, and with it came a change to the way date and time are recorded in the import file. Without an update on our end, this would have caused your OPT transactions to import with the wrong date - which is the last thing you need when trying to reconcile your fuel!

We've updated Beacon to read the latest Compac OPT format, meaning your after-hours fuel transactions will continue to import accurately and without any manual intervention. No more worrying about mismatched dates throwing off your fuel reconciliation!

This is just one example of Beacon's ongoing commitment to fuel-specific features and functionality - we work hard to make sure that as the industry evolves, Beacon evolves with it.

The good news? No action is needed on your end. As long as you are on Version 4.0.1.8 or above, the Compac OPT import will work exactly as expected.
