Regional pricing just got smarter in Beacon 4.0.3.X

If you run several sites with regional pricing, keeping each region in step with Head Office can mean a lot of repeated edits. Beacon 4.0.3.X cuts that work down. When you change a stock item at Head Office, every region still using the Head Office values now updates with it. Regions you’ve deliberately set differently stay exactly as they are.
What’s new
Head Office changes flow through to matching regions. When you edit a stock item at Head Office, any region whose values still match Head Office picks up the change when you save.
Your regional exceptions stay put. If a region has its own price, supplier or catalogue code, Beacon leaves it alone. You keep control of local pricing without re-checking every region after each change.
More fields are covered. This works for:
Retail sell price
Primary supplier, catalogue code and list price
Alternate supplier, alternate catalogue code and alternate list price
Several changes in one go. Change the catalogue code and supplier in the same edit and both update in every matching region.
It applies whether or not you open the Regional Pricing screen. Save the stock item and the matching regions update.
Clear guidance on screen. The Regional Pricing button now has a hover tip, and the Regional Pricing screen has a note, both explaining which fields update automatically.
What this means for you
Less double handling when supplier details or catalogue codes change
Fewer pricing mismatches between Head Office and your regions
More time running your sites and less time on data entry
