Regional Pricing is getting a Whole Lot Smarter in Version 4.0.3.X

If you manage Regional Pricing in Beacon Head Office, you'll know the drill. A price changes at Head Office level, and then you're working through each region manually to bring everything into line. It works, but it takes time.

Version 4.0.3.X is about to change that.

What's New

We've made a significant enhancement to the Regional Pricing workflow. From version 4.0.3.X, if a region has the same price as the Head Office region, it will automatically update in line with Head Office when a change is made. Regions with different prices stay exactly as they are - untouched.

See It in Action

Here's how it works:

Before the change:

  • Head Office Region - Coke: $6.95

  • Region 1 - Coke: $6.95

  • Region 2 - Coke: $6.55

You update the Head Office Region price to $7.45.

After the change:

  • Head Office Region - Coke: $7.45

  • Region 1 - Coke: $7.45 - automatically updated to match Head Office

  • Region 2 - Coke: $6.55 - stays the same, because it had a different price

No extra steps. No changing regions one by one. Just fast, accurate pricing across your network.

It Goes Beyond Sell Price

This smart syncing behaviour doesn't stop at sell price. It also applies to:

  • Supplier Code

  • Supplier Cat Code

  • Supplier Cost

  • Alternate Supplier

  • Alternate Supplier Cat Code

  • Alternate Supplier Cost

That's a huge amount of manual admin taken off your plate in one update.
